Private by default · sharing by choice

Privacy and safety at Se'kret Bip

Se'kret Bip separates private reflection, intentional sharing, trusted relationships, anonymous public identity, and safety support so that one kind of access does not quietly become another.

Short answer: teen-created journals, voice, companion conversations, memory, drafts, check-ins, mood history, and other personal activity start private. A parent link does not turn that private space into a parent browser. Sharing is intentional and item-specific, and safety or AI features may not bypass the product's privacy and identity boundaries.

What stays private?

Private reflection

  • Pages and journal entries
  • voice notes and recordings
  • companion conversations and companion memory
  • drafts, check-ins, mood history, and personal insights

Private does not mean “parent-readable”

A verified parent relationship can support approved sharing, but it does not create blanket access to a teen's private journal, unshared recordings, raw companion history, or a reconstructed private activity feed.

What can be intentionally shared or public?

Share-specific parent access

A teen can intentionally send supported content to a linked parent or guardian. The person sharing should be able to understand what is being shared and who will receive it.

One shared item does not unlock earlier or future items.

Anonymous public identity

Where public Circle participation is available, the current privacy contract uses the teen's anonymous Bip identity. Real names stay limited to private-self or explicitly trusted contexts.

Parent and family boundaries

Parent visibility requires a verified relationship and scoped consent. Linking accounts does not silently widen the data boundary.

Where revocation is supported, removing access must stop future reads. Unlinking a parent must not expose new private data or create a fallback path into teen-only screens.

Age-aware entry stays part of the privacy model

Teen and Bip Jr + Family use separate entry paths. Teen entry continues through age-aware setup, while Bip Jr + Family continues through family setup with a grown-up. Account state and age-appropriate permissions decide what each person can access.

Safety without surveillance

Safety features may create the minimum event or intervention required by an approved safety flow. They must not silently give parents ongoing access to private journals, recordings, or companion conversations.

AI context is required to stay minimized and non-clinical, and AI features may not override privacy or identity rules.

What Se'kret Bip does not promise

Questions people ask

Can a linked parent see a teen's private journal?

No. A parent link does not convert private content into shared content. Parent access is limited to content intentionally shared through a supported flow.

Does sharing one item open the rest of the account?

No. Sharing one item does not grant access to earlier or future items.

What identity appears on public Circle content?

Where public Circle participation is available, the current privacy contract uses the teen's anonymous Bip identity rather than their real name.

Can safety features become ongoing parent surveillance?

No. The product contract allows only the minimum event or intervention required by an approved safety flow, not silent ongoing access to private content.

Is this the legal privacy policy?

No. This is a public explanation of product guardrails. Legal privacy publication has its own completion and verification gate.
